The last page explained everything. Gerald and I had revised our estate plan with our attorney while we were both fully capable of making our own decisions. Danielle and Brandon were no longer the primary beneficiaries of everything we owned. We created protected education trusts for our grandchildren, while most of whatever remained after both of us were gone would eventually support a local hospital foundation that had helped our family through difficult years.
