The Documents I Took Proved Harrison Had Been Planning to Use More Than My Credit Card
Harrison’s fifty-first call finally came through while I was sitting in my car. He was furious. He told me the restaurant manager was refusing to let the group leave without payment and demanded that I return with my card. When I refused, Harrison admitted he had given the manager a photograph of my credit card that he kept on his phone, claiming I had authorized the charge. I immediately froze the card and called the restaurant myself, explaining that I had never approved payment for thirty guests.
