Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Sunday that Iran could soon exhaust the oil shipments it still has available for delivery to China, arguing that U.S. sanctions and the blockade of Iranian exports are putting increasing economic pressure on Tehran.
Speaking on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures, Bessent estimated that roughly 15 million barrels of Iranian oil remain on the water and said those shipments could reach China within about two weeks.
