In most hotels, unopened miniature toiletries are supplied specifically for guests to use and are replaced when necessary. Housekeeping staff generally remove opened or partially used bottles after checkout rather than secretly refilling them for the next person. Many properties have also moved away from tiny containers altogether and installed larger wall-mounted dispensers to reduce plastic waste.
