Hidden Flight Authorization Records Exposed a Plan to Divert Future Aerospace Contracts

Michael immediately sealed the flight control laboratory and contacted federal investigators before any scheduled test programs resumed. Engineers examined every server connected to the simulation network and found no missing files, damaged equipment, or unauthorized software. Instead, the encrypted device had quietly inserted a secondary authorization profile programmed to activate only after Emma officially became the registered owner of the facility.

The contractor identified in the footage admitted entering the laboratory but insisted he believed he was completing a routine certification procedure requested by the federal aerospace officer. She had explained that several prototype flight simulations required a final synchronization update before the ownership transfer could be fully processed. He connected the device, delivered the silver case, and left without realizing what had actually been loaded into the system.

Investigators later opened the case and discovered unsigned development agreements assigning future testing priority to a private aerospace consortium. The changes would not have affected daily operations or interrupted ongoing research. Instead, as new government and commercial projects became available, the highest-value contracts would automatically be routed to outside companies while Emma’s facility remained responsible for maintaining the expensive testing infrastructure.

The scheme unraveled because of Michael’s old-fashioned backup routine. Every evening, he printed the laboratory’s authorization tables and stored them inside a locked fireproof cabinet, believing paper records were the only safeguard against digital manipulation. Comparing those printouts with the updated system logs revealed a duplicate authorization sequence that should never have existed.

That single inconsistency exposed the entire operation before the hidden agreements reached the national registry. The altered records were voided, the certification amendments cancelled, and the aerospace officer was placed under federal investigation. Emma inherited exactly what my father intended—an aerospace facility whose future still belonged to our family.
