The Envelope Ended My Mother’s Moving Day
Inside the envelope was a copy of the deed showing one owner: me. Behind it was an email I had sent that morning to the moving company after one of Mom’s church friends quietly warned me what she was planning. The movers had been instructed not to unload a single item without my written authorization.
