The first envelope concerned Damon’s business line of credit. I had guaranteed it years earlier, but the guarantee was approaching renewal, and my attorney had formally notified the lender that I would not extend it. Damon would need to qualify on his own or arrange replacement financing. The second concerned their vehicle loan, which I had also guaranteed.
