The Envelopes Exposed Their Planned Takeover

Marguerite’s envelope contained a copy of the deed confirming that I was the sole legal owner of the beach house.

Sabrina’s held screenshots from her public messages describing the upstairs suite as her “new studio” and discussing how quickly they could pressure me into leaving permanently.

My father’s contained an email Marguerite had sent him two weeks earlier. In it, she explained that once they received mail at the property and established residency, transferring the house into a family trust would become easier.

The fourth envelope was addressed to the moving company.

It contained written notice that I had authorized no delivery, no occupants, and no removal of property from my home.

Marguerite demanded that Dad make me cooperate.

He admitted she had told him I invited them to move in. He claimed he knew nothing about the trust plan.

“You knew enough to arrive with a moving truck,” I replied.

The movers carried every box back outside. When Marguerite refused to leave, the security officer waiting near the porch stepped inside and explained that remaining after permission had been denied would constitute trespassing.

Sabrina stopped recording.

Dad apologized before returning to the SUV, but I did not mistake embarrassment for accountability.

Eighteen years earlier, Marguerite moved me into a storage room because she believed confidence created authority.

This time, that room held the paperwork proving confidence created nothing.

Ownership did.
