According to it, I had supposedly declined part of my grandmother’s inheritance and authorized certain assets to be redirected for “family administration.” At the bottom was my name—and a signature that looked almost like mine. Almost. “You never signed this, correct?” Rosalind asked. I shook my head. My mother immediately started insisting Grandma had wanted everything handled “fairly,” while Dad demanded that we discuss it privately. Rosalind refused. The document had already raised concerns because the notarization and dates did not match other estate records. My parents’ certified-mail signatures proved they had also received notices they claimed never arrived.
