Waking up to find small, pale, round objects scattered across your bed can be enough to make anyone panic. At first glance, they may look like insect eggs, especially when grouped together in neat clusters. It’s natural to assume the worst and immediately wonder if your home has become infested.
One insect people often suspect is the stink bug. These shield-shaped pests are known for sneaking indoors during cooler months in search of warmth. While adult stink bugs are commonly found on walls and windows, they typically lay their barrel-shaped eggs on the undersides of plant leaves outdoors—not on bedding. Finding similar-looking objects on your bed doesn’t automatically mean stink bugs are to blame.
