The package on Deborah’s porch contained her wheel boot. While I was at work, I had called a licensed roadside company, explained what happened, and provided proof that the Toyota belonged to me. They documented the boot, removed it without damaging my car, and inspected the wheel. I also saved footage from my doorbell camera showing Deborah carrying the device toward my Toyota the night before. Before doing anything else, I contacted the local authorities and reported that a private neighbor had immobilized my legally parked vehicle on a public street.
