The Missing Records Exposed Camille’s Final Betrayal

Adrian opened the envelope.

My original tests showed normal fertility. The abnormal results used to convince me otherwise had been added later under a different laboratory identification number.

Camille had worked in Silvercrest’s billing department at the time. She had accessed my file repeatedly without any legitimate reason.

Then Adrian turned to Damien.

“The records also show that you underwent testing during the marriage,” he said. “Those pages were removed from the copies provided during the divorce.”

Damien’s expression changed.

His results had revealed a condition making natural conception extremely unlikely. Camille had known because she had accessed those records too.

The laboratory report in Adrian’s hand did not identify the baby’s father. It established only that Damien could not honestly claim the child proved I had been responsible for our failed attempts.

Camille began crying and admitted she had altered my file after her affair with Damien started. She wanted him to leave me without questioning why we had never conceived.

Damien looked at the boy in her arms, then at Camille.

“Whose child is he?”

She did not answer.

The hospital opened a formal privacy investigation, while my attorney moved to reopen the divorce settlement based on concealed and falsified medical evidence.

Damien had built his new life around the belief that I was defective.

Two pages restored to my medical file revealed the truth:

I had never been the reason our family remained empty.
