The Porch Camera Captured Their Entire Crime

Mounted beneath the roofline was the new security camera Mia had helped me install the previous weekend.

Its light was blinking.

Denise’s husband had parked the concrete mixer directly within view, and the camera had recorded everything: the truck entering my property, Denise directing the chute, and both of them laughing while wet concrete buried my car.

Denise rushed toward the porch and reached for the camera.

“Don’t touch it,” Mia said. “It already saved the video online.”

The police arrived before the concrete had fully hardened. Denise tried claiming the driveway belonged to her husband’s company, but the deed and survey showed that both the car and the land were entirely mine.

Her husband’s commercial insurance company received the footage that evening. The Chevrolet was declared a total loss, and they were required to cover its replacement, towing, cleanup, and damage to the driveway.

The construction company also faced an investigation for using commercial equipment to deliberately destroy private property.

Denise called it a misunderstanding.

The recording showed otherwise.

Weeks later, I purchased a reliable replacement vehicle. A contractor restored the driveway and installed a taller privacy fence along the property line, blocking much of Denise’s prized view.

She buried my car because she believed nobody would challenge her.

My nine-year-old daughter simply pointed toward the one witness Denise had forgotten to silence.
