When I stepped back into the aisle, the woman who had insulted me was standing beside her seat with a gate supervisor.<\/p>\n
Her face was bright red.<\/p>\n
Apparently, while I was in the bathroom, she had continued arguing with the crew and refused repeated instructions to stop harassing me. Then she demanded that I be removed from the flight.<\/p>\n
Instead, the crew documented her behavior.<\/p>\n
The supervisor explained that she could either remain seated and stop disturbing other passengers or leave the aircraft.<\/p>\n
She chose to keep arguing.<\/p>\n
So they escorted her off.<\/p>\n
No applause. No dramatic cheering.<\/p>\n
Just a strangely quiet cabin as she grabbed her bag and disappeared through the door.<\/p>\n
The flight attendant walked me back to my seat and asked whether I wanted to move.<\/p>\n
